Testing & Quality Management
Software Quality Assurance (SQA) involves the entire software development PROCESS - monitoring and improving the process, making sure that any agreed-upon standards and procedures are followed, and ensuring that problems are found and dealt with. It is oriented towards 'prevention'.
Achieving quality is not only "meeting the requirements", but also identifying the measures to demonstrate the achievement of quality. Furthermore, there is a need to implement a repeatable and manageable process, to ensure that the product created with it has achieved the desired degree of quality.
Besides describing product requirements, analyze, design, implementation and deployment, software testing is an important process in the lifecycle of a software product.
Testing involves operating a system or application in a controlled environment and evaluating the results. The controlled environment should include both normal and abnormal conditions. Testing should intentionally attempt to make things go wrong to determine whether things happen when they shouldn't or things don't happen when they should. It is oriented towards 'detection'.
Our company delivers quality trough its products.
Before any of our products go to our customers, they go trough a thorough test period. As testing is just as important a process in our development methodology as analysis, design or implementation, we have developed a specific department within the company - the Test Center - that takes care of effective test procedures.
We provide Functional, Module, GUI, Performance (Load & Stress), Integration, Regression and Monkey Proof - all risk-based tests. We are currently also developing procedures for automation tests.
All test procedures are carried out for internal products. Sysgenic Sourcing is considering to extend its testing services to include external products in the near future.
Sysgenic Sourcing is on the way of being ISO 9001:2000 certified.
